Risk Managers
As the Risk Manager, you advise companies of any potential safety risks to the company and its employees. You identify and assess threats, put plans in place in case something goes wrong and decide how to avoid, reduce or transfer risks.
Risk managers are responsible for managing the risk of the company, its employees, customers, reputation, assets and interests of stakeholders. They may work in a variety of sectors and may specialize in a number of areas including enterprise risk, corporate governance, regulatory and operational risk, business continuity, information and security risk, technology risk, and market and credit risk. They may also represent or work directly for insurance carriers and brokers. Risk Managers should always interact with key managers within the company, including safety and environmental staff.
